The brief
SMA UK approached us on the strength of previous work we had undertaken, to help them launch a new fundraising campaign called ‘Marathon in May’.
The idea was simple. Anyone could take part in a fundraising marathon by allowing a month to complete the distance. Any mode was acceptable – running, walking, rolling etc. with the main objective being to raise money and awareness for SMA UK.
SMA UK needed to communicate the idea to their supporters, and inspire them to take part.
Our approach
We designed a visual identity for the campaign that would be easily recognisable and was in sympathy with the organisation’s core branding.
Outputs included a four-page promotional brochure, sponsorship and a short animation to help promote the campaign online.
The campaign raised a considerable sum and is due to be repeated yearly.
